The PuSh International Performing Arts Festival pairs Looking for a Missing Employee (from Beirut, Lebanon) with a three-course dinner at The Opus Hotel’s Cento Notti during Dine Out Vancouver.
Looking for a Missing Employee is a thoughtful and provocative performance puzzle by Lebanese artist Rabih Mroué which explores the true story of a man who disappears from his low-level post at the Ministry of Finance in Beirut, never to be seen again. Merging brilliant storytelling with live sketch art, Mroué leads the audience on a perplexing search for the “truth”, amid a sea of documents, clippings, photos and found objects.
