The PuSh International Performing Arts Festival Society is committed to protecting the privacy and security of personal information held about its patrons. This document describes how we collect, use or disclose personal information in order to provide our programming and services to you.  

Personal information in this Policy means information about an identifiable individual.

The following is a statement of our commitment to collect, use, disclosure and protect your personal information in accordance with applicable law.

COLLECTION OF INFORMATION

The PuSh Festivals collects personal information only from:

  • Attendees (directly or through the venue box offices and partnering ticket agencies)
  • Donors
  • Members
  • Volunteers
  • Others who have shown an interest in the PuSh Festival

This information is collected by a variety of methods: email, mail, phone, fax, online or in person.

USE OF INFORMATION

The PuSh Festival uses personal information to better serve our patrons and to expand our community of support. This primarily includes using the information:

  • To deliver services to provide information about tickets, events, membership and donations
  • To thank supporters, and fulfill subscriber, donor and member benefits
  • To invite supporters to special events
  • To sell subscriptions, tickets and solicit donations
  • For service emails and phone calls
  • For audit purposes

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION

The PuSh Festival treats its obligations with respect to the use and disclosure of personal information very seriously. Generally, we will only use or disclose personal information for the primary purpose that it was collected or for a purpose related to the primary purpose that individuals may reasonably expect. The PuSh Festival will not sell, rent or share your personal information, and will only share your personal information with presenting parters.

By seeking to participate in our programming, by submitting your personal information on our website, or by donating or volunteering with us, PuSh takes such activities as your voluntary consent to collect your personal information as set out in this policy. 

SECURITY

We use commercially reasonable organizational, technical and administrative means intended to protect stored and transmitted information from loss, misuse and unauthorized access or disclosure. However, no method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is 100% secure or error-free, so we unfortunately cannot guarantee absolute security. OPTING OUT OF COMMUNICATIONS

If you no longer want to receive marketing-related emails from us on a going-forward basis, you may opt-out of receiving marketing-related emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email, or, if you created an online account when you registered to receive our emails, you may log-in to your account and make changes to your communication preferences. However, please note that even if you opt-out from receiving marketing emails we may still need to send you communications about your appointments and services.

ACCESS

Subject to certain exceptions, you have the right to request and receive access to the personal information under our custody or control. We may ask you to make your request for a copy of your records in writing and to provide us with the specific information we need to fulfill your request. 

We make reasonable efforts to keep your personal information accurate and up to date.  However, you are responsible for notifying us of any changes to your personal information.
