In her first ever appearance in Vancouver, vocalist and Canadian cult legend Mary Margaret O’Hara takes the stage with acclaimed cellist and musical collaborator Peggy Lee for an evening of original songs, covers and collective improvisations. Hailed as “a national treasure” by R.E.M.’s Michael Stipe, O’Hara has appeared as a guest artist on numerous records and soundtrack albums over the years for artists as varied as The Henrys and Morrissey, but is best known for her 1988 debut album Miss America. O’Hara and Lee will be joined by guest artists J.P. Carter on trumpet, Ron Samworth on guitar and Dylan van der Schyff on drums.
