A New Way to Plan Your Festival: Curated Bundles
December 22, 2025
By Annie Clarke, Managing Director
Exactly one month from today, we launch the 2026 PuSh Festival—a Festival already dear to my heart as it will mark my first as PuSh’s Managing Director, co-leading the Festival alongside Artistic Director Gabrielle Martin.

Around this time last year, when I was a PuSh fan and audience member but not yet a member of the team, I remember picking up the PuSh Festival Guide from my local café. I was simultaneously thrilled by the wide-ranging programming I found inside, and daunted by the prospect of whittling these 25 options down to the confines of my humble six-show pass. Where to start?
We’ve introduced a helping hand this year: curated bundles that offer some ideas about how you might want to combine shows. We have three different day bundles that invite you to lean into the Festival spirit and make a day of it, with three shows to see on each of the three Saturdays of the Festival. See it First: the World Premieres highlights the six (!) shows PuSh audiences get to experience before anyone else. Around the World in 6 Shows brings together some of the exciting international work at the Festival this year, while the Dance Made in Canada bundle offers an option for those looking for works by artists closer to home.

We’ve curated bundles around the themes that resonate across the Festival, including Enacting Transformation, Confronting Power with Resistance, and an Exploration of Time, which you can find on the bundles page.
You might also consider returning to artists whose work has been shared at PuSh in recent years:
| Artist | You May Know Them From… | Returns to PuSh with… |
| Tiziano Cruz | Soliloquio (I Woke Up and Hit My Head Against the Wall) (2023) | Wayqeycuna |
| Cherish Menzo / GRIP | JEZEBEL | |
| Alan Lake Factori(e) | Le cri des méduses (2023) | Orpheus |
| Vanessa Goodman | BLOT (2023) | WAIL |
| Rakesh Sukesh | because i love the diversity (this micro-attitude, we all have it) | Invisibles (Residency Showing) |
And of course, our homepage offers many options to filter by show type, including by day. If you’re searching by discipline, a friendly reminder that so much of the work at PuSh lives between and expands across disciplines, defying easy categorization—and that’s part of what we love about it. You also have an option to build your own shortlist this year, which you can learn about here.
We hope these will prove worthwhile jumping-off points as you navigate the program this year. But also—consider this your invitation to reach for the unfamiliar!
Happy planning, and we look forward to welcoming you to PuSh 2026 in the new year.
