Call for Artists: Lead a PuSh Artist Walk at the 2026 Industry Series
September 09, 2025
Artist Walks invite visiting PuSh Industry delegates to slow down, take a walk, and experience Vancouver through the eyes of a local artist. These are not guided tours or performances. They are informal, artist-led walks where conversation and connection are the main focus. You will lead a small group of up to ten delegates along a route from the Roundhouse to Stanley Park, shaped by your own sense of place and interests.

Delegates will be a mix of artists, presenters, agents, and special guests from Canada and beyond. You will have chances to talk about your own work, but the focus is on dialogue and shared ideas rather than pitching. Think about the topics or questions you want to explore together and let those guide the experience.
We are looking for local artists who want to:
- Welcome national and international guests to Vancouver in a memorable way
- Build meaningful one-on-one and small-group connections
- Share a part of the city that inspires them
Details:
- Date: Tuesday, January 27, 2026
- Time commitment: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
- Route: Must begin at the Roundhouse Community Arts & Recreation Centre and end in Stanley Park. You choose the path in between.
- Group size: Up to 10 delegates per artist
- Accessibility: If walking is not possible, we welcome alternative ideas that capture the spirit of hosting and showcasing Vancouver.
- A complimentary 2026 PuSh Artist Pass + Industry Series Build-Your-Own-Track Pass (valued at $250) will be provided
To apply:
Send a short statement (150–300 words) explaining your interest in leading an Artist Walk to Brian Postalian, Industry Producer at industry@pushfestival.ca by October 20, 2025. Artists who have participated in previous years are encouraged to apply.
