In 2001, Erin Leddy lived with her grandmother for a year and recorded her memoirs. These tapes form the bones for this solo performance—a meditation on consciousness, memory, mortality and things passed down through generations. Through recorded voice, dance, original song and brilliantly illuminated scenery, we are drawn into the inner control station of the mind where stories appear and vanish, and misplaced memories resurface. Co-created and produced by Hand2Mouth Theatre, this work was awarded five Portland Drammy Awards following its premiere.
