Qualia [ pl.n.(kwä-lē-ə)] an unfamiliar term for something that could not be more familiar: the way things seem to us.
The multiple ways in which we each experience reality, yet can’t quite communicate. How does it feel to see red, smell a rose, sense pain, hear thunder? Do we perceive reality or merely an interpretation our mind has created? What is experience? Qualia invites you to enter the space beyond description, slip through the state in between, dare the unknown. The first graduating class of the newly inaugurated Bachelor of Performing Arts program presents Qualia — a private experience in a public place.
