On behalf of the staff, board and artists of the PuSh International Performing Arts Festival, I would like to thank all volunteers of the 2015 Festival for their time and dedication! Their collaborative spirit and generous support ensured the 2015 PuSh Festival was a great success. It was an honour to work with such a passionate group of hardworking people–truly inspirational.

Our 170 volunteers helped with everything from helping patrons at venues as ushers, picking up artists from the airport, to dancing in the rain during Le Grand Continental. In total, this year’s volunteers worked an astounding 2,246 hours over 20 days!

In addition, I’d like to extend a special thanks and recognize the following people for their stellar efforts:

  • Lea-Anne Niamath, who supported the Volunteer Coordinators at the PuSh Festival office almost everyday.
  • All of our fine Venue Captains, especially Andrew Shuterland and Gerald Joe, who were exceptional at jumping in at the last minute to organize and lead others; their professionalism helped ensure smooth venue operations for all volunteers and staff.
  • Rick Lyn for his dedication and enthusiasm, and for being a such a great team player!

These are just some of the volunteers who stood out from an already exceptional group! Each volunteer was a wonderful addition to the team, delighting patrons, staff, artists and fellow volunteers alike with their infectious smiles and dedication to ensure the success of the 2015 PuSh International Performing Arts Festival.
