City Opera Vancouver (Canada)

Founded in 2006, City Opera Vancouver is wide-ranging and adventurous in its practice; from recitals to concerts to theatrical productions, it brings the art form to new audiences every year. The group performs opera from each period of its existence, going all the way back to its beginnings in the 1600s, and it also commissions works from Canadian composers.
