Playwright, actor, and proud Zambian Makambe K. Simamba was a 2019 Dora Award winner for Our Fathers, Sons, Lovers and Little Brothers; she is also the author of the plays A Chitenge Story, MUD,and The Drum Major Instinct. With both humility and firm commitment, Makambe works to be of service through the telling of stories.
