Best Before Audience Feedback

January 31, 2010

We have had quite a bit of audience feedback about Best Before, and we’d like to share some of it with you! Thanks to everyone who has been sending us comments.

“Our family (Mom, Dad and two teenage sons, aged 13 and 15) were fortunate to be part of the Friday night’s test of Best Before. An amazing opportunity for us to spend time together, sharing technological skills, making ethical and social decisions, and guiding our avatars through life…. and laughing a lot. The impact of the decisions made (sometimes inadvertently …I was NOT happy my avatar ended up with a gun through my own technical ineptitude) and the human aspect of hearing real people’s stories, and how they connect to the decisions we were being asked to make, blended the two “worlds” effectively. It’s not often, these days, the four of us can agree on a piece of theatre’s value …. but Best Before was DEFINITELY a great learning and time-spent-together experience for our family.”

“I have had a lot of fun testing out the new game that PuSh International Performing Arts Festival has created. It was a great experience I really liked all the interesting stories that were told. The characters we got to play were very interesting. While playing the game there was a lot of interaction and added effects like the person playing the guitar and effects coming down from the ceiling. I had a lot of fun testing out the game. I thought the whole layout of the performance and gaming was very good.

I appreciate the time and the resources that PuSh International Performing Arts Festival provided for me. Thank you for your assistance in providing “hands on” experience to me in the Vancouver School Board Career Preparation Program. “
