In the Community with PuSh Partners
July 18, 2013
Summer is well underway, with glorious weather blessing our beautiful city. And the arts community is hard at work to offer you lots of activities to keep you busy. Here are a few upcoming PuSh community partnership events that we recommend:
LikLik Pik at Queer Arts Festival
July 26 at 7:30pm | Roundhouse Community Arts Centre
Liklik Pik is an intimate dance duet by provocative and award-winning Montreal choreographer George Stamos. This piece emphasizes empowerment of the human body while following imaginative impulses and queer tangents along the way.

Keep the Wise Alive Benefit Concert
August 9 at 8pm | The Wise Hall
The Keep the WISE Alive campaign continues with a benefit concert featuring The Odds, The Palomars and Big Top, with a special appearance by the Screaming Chicken Burlesque. The Keep the WISE Alive campaign is raising funds to improve sound insulation in the hall, one of Vancouver’s favourite venues. In addition to a fabulous night of live music & performances, there will also be a silent auction featuring fabulous prizes donated from local musicians and businesses, including concert tickets, prize packages from Red Cat Records and so much more!
