The Edward Curtis Project wins at Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards

The PuSh Festival sends a huge congratulations to all of the artists involved in The Edward Curtis Project – a critically acclaimed multi-disciplinary work by Metis/Dene playwright Marie Clements and photojournalist Rita Leistner that premiered as part of the 2010 PuSh Festival in partnership with Presentation House Theatre.

The Edward Curtis Project was nominated for 8 awards, and won 1 award at the 28th Annual Jessie Richardson Theatre Awards that took place at the Commodore Ballroom last night.

Nominations:
Outstanding Production, Small Theatre
Tamara Podemski – Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Lead Role
Kevin Loring – Outstanding Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role
Kathleen Duborg – Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role
Bruce Ruddell- Outstanding Sound Design or Original Composition
Tim Matheson – Significant Artistic Achievement
Marie Clements – Outstanding Original Script

Jesse Richardson Theatre Award Winner:
John Webber – Outstanding Lighting Design
