Things to do on a rainy weekend

October 17, 2008

It’s Friday, but the weekend looks a bit dreary, doesn’t it? You might be saying to yourself:

“Oh ho hum. What a drizzly, rainy weekend. I guess summer really is over. How ever will I spend my time?”

Hey, why don’t you go to the Vancouver Art Gallery and check out WACK? Its one of the many weird and wonderful exhibitions that make the VAG so much fun.

Or maybe you are more of a scholarly-type. Well from October 21st – 26th, the Writer’s Festival will rock your world. They’ve also added a really cool event with Ursula K. LeGuin, for the thoughtful sci-fi geeks (and aren’t we all? Ok, maybe just me).

Of course, there’s always tons of local theatre and music, so get out there and support the many talented actors, writers, producers, musicians, circus performers, and artists this town has to offer!
