Choreographer and performer Dana Michel is a former marketing executive, competitive runner and football player, and there are traces of those past pursuits in her powerful physicality and innovative approach to self-expression. She has been heralded by the New York Times and awarded the Silver Lion for Innovation in Dance at the Venice Biennale; she is also the winner of the 2019 ANTI Festival International Prize for Live Art.
