    There may only be one entry per person, multiple entries may void your eligibility. This contest is not affiliated with Instagram. No purchase necessary. A contestant may only enter the contest if the contest does not breach any law or regulation of the jurisdiction in which they reside. Void where prohibited by law.

    Contest ends January 6, 2017. A winner will be chosen at random from qualifying entries. The prize consists of twenty-four (24) five-dollar ($5) gift cards to Earnest Ice Cream for a maximum value of one hundred twenty Canadian dollars ($120CAD). The potential winner will be notified via Instagram Direct Message and has forty-eight (48) hours to accept the prize. Failure to accept within the allotted time will void the prize. The winner, in accepting the prize, consents to PuSh’s use of their name, for purposes of advertising, trade and promotion in any and all media, without further compensation, except where prohibited by law.

    The contest is not open to employees and contractors of PuSh. PuSh reserves the right to review the eligibility of the potential winners before the prize is awarded. PuSh reserves the right to amend or terminate all or any portion of this contest at any time for any reason without prior notice.

    Industry Pass/Pack:

    The PuSh Assembly Industry Series events are ticketed and can only be accessed by PuSh Festival patrons who have purchased the Industry Pass Industry Pack. The Industry Pass offers you access to all PuSh Assembly Industry Series events, plus includes a Six-Show Pass to attend shows. The Industry Packs allow access to all events of the PuSh Assembly Industry Series only, without a Pass to attend shows.

    • Industry Pass: $208 early bird / $236 regular (6-show Pass + Assembly Industry Series events)
    • Industry Pack: $60 regular

    PuSh Industry Pass early bird rates ends 5:00PM PST on November 22, 2016.

    Single Tickets:

    Single tickets to shows at the the PuSh Festival shows are sold through various partners and box office outlets, as specified on each show page.

    Free events:

    • Select shows are free and do not require a ticket or advanced booking, as specified on the show page.
    • Select shows are free but may require advance booking, as specified on the show page. Book your free ticket by following the links on the show page.

  • There are two ways to purchase your PuSh Pass:

    • By phone: call 604.449.6000 during regular PuSh Festival Audience Services hours.

  • Tickets to PuSh Festival shows are sold through various box offices. Please visit the specific show page for detailed box office details.

    Tickets to all of the 2017 PuSh Festival shows go on sale at 10:00AM PST on November 8, 2016.

  • Most PuSh Festival shows (Main Stage and Club PuSh) are eligible on the PuSh Pass, as indicated on the specific show pages.

    There are limited numbers of seats reserved for PuSh Passholders at each performance. Book early to avoid disappointment! To check the up-to-date availability for PuSh Passholders, visit the PuSh Passes page.

    Select shows require an additional surcharge, payable at the time of booking:

    • Macbeth requires a $40 surcharge
    • dirtsong requires a $12 surcharge

    Select shows or performance times are not be eligible to book on the PuSh Pass:

    • As I Lay Dying: February 7–12 are not eligible
    • The City and the City: January 24, 25 are not eligible

  • Your PuSh Pass is flexible! For example, if you purchase a Four-Show Pass, you can choose to bring three friends to a single show, bring one friend to two different shows, or see four different shows on your Pass. The only restriction is that the PuSh Passholder must be present; PuSh Passes are non-transferable.

  • You can book your shows by visiting the Passholder Login page. You will need your PuSh Pass number, first name, last name and email address to log in. Book early (and at least 72 hours prior to showtime) since seats available to be booked by PuSh Passholders for each performance are limited and do fill up as the Festival approaches.

  • Passholder Seats Available – You are able to book these performances on your PuSh Pass.

    Passholder Seats Limited – You are able to book these performances on your PuSh Pass, but book soon because these performances are close to filling up!

    Passholder Seats Closed – You are not able to book these shows on your PuSh Pass. This does not necessarily mean that the performance is sold out; it means PuSh Passholder seats are not available. Single tickets may be available through the box office and/or at the door before the performance. Please visit the specific show pages for box office information.

  • A limited number of seats are available for PuSh Passholders for each performance. We suggest booking your shows as soon as possible to avoid disappointment, as seats do fill up quickly.

    Single tickets for a show may still be available once the Passholder seats are full. To purchase single tickets, visit the specific show page for box office information.

  • Yes, you can, but we don’t recommend it! Seating available to PuSh Passholders at the door on the day of the show is always subject to availability, and generally extremely limited. The only way to guarantee admission is to book in advance (at least 72 hours prior to showtime).

  • If you change your mind about a booking, or aren’t able to attend a show that you already booked on your Pass, you can cancel your booking on the PuSh Festival website via the Passholder Login page. You must cancel at least 72 hours prior to show showtime. Missed performances are considered redeemed and are non-refundable.

    You can also re-book a different performance by using the Passholder Login page. Please note that re-bookings are subject to a $2.25 fee per ticket.

  • If you have to cancel a show that has a surcharge, you will be refunded the surcharge back onto your credit card within 30 days.

    If you have to cancel a show with a surcharge, and would like to re-book into another show that also has a surcharge, you must pay the surcharge again separately (and the surcharge from your canceled show will be refunded to your credit card within 30 days).

  • Most PuSh Festival shows are general admission (first come, first served). Please arrive early to the venue on performance night for better seating. For shows in assigned seating venues, PuSh Passholders are seated in a selection of excellent seats throughout the venue. Specific seating information is not available prior to your show.

    If you have a specific seating request for accessibility reasons, please make your seating request in the “Booking Notes” section when booking your shows. PuSh Festival Audience Services will contact you to confirm availability.

    If you wish to sit together with another Passholder at a show in an assigned seating venue, please include the other Passholder’s full name and Pass number in the “Booking Notes” section when booking your shows. PuSh Festival Audience Services will contact you to confirm availability.

    Please note that we are generally unable to accommodate requests for a Passholder to sit next to a single ticket buyer.

  • Most PuSh performances are general admission (first come, first served). Arrive early to the performance venue for better seating and to sit with a non-Passholder.

    For shows in assigned seating venues, consecutive seat availability with non-Passholders is extremely limited. If you wish to sit together with a non-Passholder at a show in an assigned seating venue, please make your seating request in the “Booking Notes” section when booking your performances. PuSh Festival Audience Services will contact you to confirm availability. Remember, you can always use your PuSh Pass to book two tickets to the same show in order to bring a friend!

  • Once you have purchased a PuSh Pass you will receive an email confirmation with your unique Pass number that you can use immediately to book your shows online.

    Your physical PuSh Pass will then be mailed to you within 10 business days, if purchased before January 8. If you purchase your Pass after January 8, PuSh Festival Audience Services will contact you to arrange pickup of your Pass.

    If you purchased an Industry Pass, it will be mailed to you within 10 business days for addresses within the Greater Vancouver area. If you have an address outside the Greater Vancouver area, including international addresses, you will receive an email with further instructions on how to pick up your pass once you’re in town.

  • Tickets booked on your PuSh Pass will be available at the venue box office one hour before showtime. Present your PuSh Pass and photo ID to claim them. PuSh Passholder tickets are not mailed, and not available in advance of the show.

  • PuSh Passes are non-refundable and non-transferable. Shows booked on the PuSh Pass can be exchanged for another eligible show via the Book Shows page, with a $2.25 fee per ticket.

  • PuSh Passes are non-transferable, which means the Passholder must always be present when using their PuSh Pass. You are welcome to book more than one ticket per show on your Pass so you can bring guests, but you must be present with your PuSh Pass and photo ID to claim your tickets.

  • Yes, and what a gift to give! Please follow the instructions on the Pass Purchase page. Indicate the gift recipient’s name and mailing address under the “Passholder Information” section.

  • Please contact PuSh Festival Audience Services immediately at tickets@pushfestival.ca or 604.449.6000. The PuSh Festival is not responsible to replace lost or stolen Passes.

  • If the show indicates that “latecomers will not be admitted,” we truly cannot accommodate late entry into the show. Late entry is disruptive for the performers and audiences. To ensure entry, we recommend you arrive no less than 30 minutes before showtime to claim your tickets at the box office and be seated.

    Any late entry is at the sole discretion of the venue front of house staff.

  • Some PuSh Festival shows may not be appropriate for young audiences; most contain mature content intended for adults. This year, there are select shows open to young audiences. Please visit the specific show pages for a detailed description of each work. Though PuSh Festival Audience Services is pleased to advise, it is at the discretion of the parent or guardian to determine if a show is age-appropriate.

    Any audience member, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the venue and attend the show.

    Please note that The Fox Cabaret is licensed and therefore all audience members must be 19 years of age and older to attend shows at this venue (with two pieces of valid proof-of-age photo ID).

  • Most (but not all) venues are accessible to people with mobility aids. Please contact PuSh Festival Audience Services at tickets@pushfestival.ca or 604.449.6000 to confirm venue accessibility and to reserve seats. If you are booking shows on your PuSh Pass online, please indicate any specific accessibility needs in the “Booking Notes” section.

  • Yes, outdoor shows happen in rain or shine! Please be prepared and dressed for Vancouver weather.

  • Yes! If you book a Club PuSh show on your PuSh Pass, or if you buy a single ticket to a Club PuSh show, you have access to Club PuSh at The Fox Cabaret one hour before showtime until late. So arrive early and/or stay late to enjoy some drinks, music and conversation with the fellow Festival-goers.

    As a PuSh Passholder or single ticket buyer to Club PuSh, you have access to both The Fox Cabaret main room and the The Fox Cabaret’s Projection Room (which is located upstairs through the side entrance outside).

  • The PuSh Festival bar—located at Club PuSh at the Fox Cabaret (2312 Main Street)—is the social hub of the whole Festival where you can meet up with friends and colleagues every night of the Festival. Join fellow Festival-goers for conversation, drinks and music by guest DJs in The Fox Cabaret’s Projection Room (upstairs, use the side entrance outside.)

    If you are attending a Club PuSh show, arrive early and stay late to keep the conversation going. And even if you do not have a ticket to a Club PuSh show in The Fox Cabaret’s main room, you are welcome to join us in at the Festival bar in the Projection Room (this does not provide entry to the Club PuSh show).
