Giving Tuesday

November 30, 2021

Support dynamic, daring, and vibrant performing arts for the 9th annual Giving Tuesday!

Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement, taking place each year after Black Friday. The “Opening day of the giving season,” it’s a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for favourite causes. This Giving Tuesday, we hope we can count on your support.

The 2022 PuSh Festival comes at a distinct time when we’re emerging from social hibernation yet still navigating a global pandemic; when we’re freshly reminded of the atrocities carried out against Indigenous people through the residential school system;  when we’ve recently seen BC communities destroyed by climate change; and when, at PuSh, we’re continuing to right relations with past staff and review our organizational structure.

The 2022 Festival comes as we try to make sense of where we stand after what has come to pass. Art can make sense of the senseless and help us situate ourselves in the complexity of human experience. Our intention is that PuSh continues to be a cultural accelerator, animating our imaginations and transforming our perspectives. For these reasons the PuSh Festival is necessary and this PuSh festival has a sense of necessity.

Please consider joining the PuSh family of supporters by making your Giving Tuesday gift here or by signing up to volunteer here…

All best wishes for the coming holiday season from all of us at PuSh and we look forward to seeing you at many Festival performances in the new year!
