The 2015 PuSh Festival raises over $24,000 to impact Vancouver
February 10, 2015
The 2015 PuSh International Performing Arts Festival was an overwhelming success for the arts in Vancouver, but what has been even more overwhelming is the love and support shown by the community. We kicked off the Festival with a $10,000 matching campaign, thanks to three superstar donors who pledged to match any gifts made during the Festival, immediately doubling the impact by turning it into $20,000.
The response has been tremendous with the community stepping forward to collectively donate $14,492 to the Festival. With the matching campaign, this means that over $24,000 was generously donated to support the PuSh Festival in continuing to present ground-breaking performing arts in Vancouver!
On behalf of the staff, board of directors, volunteers, and artists we’d like to extend our heartfelt thanks. Thank you for believing in what the PuSh Festival brings to this city, to our community, and for valuing the arts. The PuSh Festival Patrons Circle donors truly make the Festival possible. Donations let the Festival grow each year by helping to support awe-inspiring programming (like Le Grand Continental) and to make it possible for young people to attend the Festival for just $5 with the Youth Passport. Your support makes so much possible. We cannot thank you enough.
You—our donors, patrons, and champions—make the PuSh Festival a reality every year and we are so lucky to have you as part of our extended family. Your generosity is changing and shaping the performing arts in Vancouver.
We’d like to extend a special thank you to our three donors who made this matching campaign possible by collectively pledging $10,000: Jennifer Stanley & Thom Weeks, the R&J Stern Family Foundation, and one anonymous donor.
We’d also like to thank and acknowledge the generosity of the following individuals who generously gave and helped us surpass our goal:
